For over 30 years now I along with a group of Friends and Scout leaders have taken a week each February to get away and go for hikes. Exploring many parts of England, Wales and Scotland over the years. We’ve even got to Ireland and France.
This year we’re in the Yorkshire Dales, near to Grassington. I have to admit this is an area I haven’t spent much time in, which is a shame as it’s beautiful.
Today we did a 17Km Hike from out cottage front door to Malham Cove and on to Malham Tarn. The weather is ideal, cold, sunny without a cloud in the sky to be seen and absolutely no wind, making superb walking conditions. I long walk but well worth it.
Here are just a few photos from todays walk.
